Summary

Thirty-six miles of multi-use trail are available for exploration at this 2,821-acre preserve. While this preserve is extremely popular with bicyclists, it also has lots of hearty hiking and horseback riding opportunities. Visitors to the preserve will find mixed evergreen and redwood forests, creekside trails, coastal and forest views, and enjoy special features such as rare sandstone formations.

Small-medium parking lot at Skeggs Point.

Methuselah Trail:
Very limited roadside parking on Skyline Blvd. located approximately 2.2 miles south of Kings Mountain Road;

Gordon Mill Trail:
Limited parking on Skyline Blvd. approximately 2.7 miles south of Kings Mountain Road.

From I-280 take Hwy 84 West from the junction of Hwy 84 and Skyline Boulevard, go north on Skyline Boulevard 3.9 miles to Skeggs Point where parking is available.
